Circle of Friends Third Annual Cornhole Tournament

As our need to expand to a second location grows, the Third Annual Cornhole Tournament’s proceeds will benefit the completion of Flourish Cafe and the expansion of our mission of supportive employment.

We are happy to announce that Flourish Cafe will open in Hickory Flat in 2024.

Circle of Friends Second Annual Cornhole Tournament

On August 22, 2022, we hosted our Second Annual Cornhole Tournament at Elm Street Green in Woodstock, Georgia. With the help of many volunteers, dedicated donors, and community partners, we reached and exceeded our $15,000 goal. We were able to raise $16,416 for the benefit of Flourish Cafe.

After receiving federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), distributed by the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners, the County Manager, and the U.S. Department of Treasury, we look forward to opening Flourish Cafe in early 2024.

Circle of Friends Inaugural Cornhole Tournament

After a wet few days in 2021, the origin of the Circle of Friends Cornhole Tournaments began!

Our goal of $10,000 was met and exceeded. We were able to raise $12,000!

We had a blast and decided that another tournament was necessary to continue the mission of providing supportive employment to the adults in our community with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD).
