Supportive Attainable Housing

Cherokee County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state due to all it has to offer. Because of this, the land is not the easiest to come by in Cherokee County in the areas with a concentration of people. What once was a horse farm in the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s is now a subdivision or shopping center. There are parcels still available, but now at a premium.

Our leadership team is hard at work with our community leaders to identify appropriate opportunities that would invoke inclusion. As our VP of Operations often says, “The same thing I want in my life to live, work, play, and serve in my own community is what our friends are clamoring for themselves.” At Circle of Friends, we dream of an inclusion model that is integrated into the heart of our community, not an abandoned landmass in a part of the county where growth has not expanded yet.

Moving closer to a master-planned, mixed-use development is still on our horizon. The vision is clear while remaining malleable to adjust to the land that God grants us.
